Friends of Ka`ena will be hosting guided nature hikes starting December 13th 2014. We will have monthly hikes from December 2014 through May 2015 on the second Saturday of the month. Please email info@friendsofkaena.org if you want to sign up for a hike. Spots are limited, so reserve your spot soon!
The hike out to the Natural Area Reserve will last around 2 hours. Participants will make the return hike to the parking lot at their own pace, unaccompanied by the hike leader. Its a great time of the year for a hike!
What to bring:
- comfortable walking shoes
- adequate drinking water (at least 2 liters)
- lunch or snacks
- sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Recommended:
- binoculars
- camera
