Sony Pictures Animation is teaming up with David Reynolds, the Academy Award nominated co-writer of Finding Nemo for an untitled animated feature, reports HeatVision. Stephan Franck has been signed on to direct the flick. Franck was a supervising animator on Iron Giant and also worked as a storyboard artist on Despicable Me, and story artist on How to Train Your Dragon. David Reynolds will pen the feature which is based on an original story by Franck. The film will be the first in a four picture, first-look deal that Gotham signed with Sony Pictures Animation in 2009.
