The Cat in the Hat is set to make a return to the big screen…but relax, it won’t be a sequel to the critically detested 2003 Mike Myers outing. Instead, it will be a 3-D computer-animated film from Illumination Entertainment, the same studio responsible for the current box office hit The Lorax. Deadline is also reporting that the same company is apparently planning live-action/animated Dr. Seuss biopic, with Johnny Depp supposedly on board to play the famous children’s author. No release date for either project is currently set.
